I started volunteering for Skype a Scientist in August 2017 after reading an article about the program.  I always do the sessions at Quad-M during lunch so I can take the kids around the shop and show them the shop and real hardware.  The program is a great idea to give students and teachers easy access to professionals who want to share their experience and knowledge to inspire kids to think about their future and get interested in real world careers.  Below are some screenshots from sessions I've had with students.  It continues to be a lot of fun.
